Nativity

Yesterday the children were all told what they are going to be in our Nativity. Some of the children have speaking parts and we have sent some words home for them to learn. Please help your child to learn their words by heart and say them in a loud, clear voice. We have asked that some children bring in clothes to wear for our performances and they will have a note in their bags explaining what they need to bring and when. Thank you for your help.  Letters regarding tickets are going home today. Please be sure to return them to school as soon as possible.

History Day

First of all, im sorry this post is so late, we’ve been having some technical issues but it seems to be sorted now. We had a fantastic history day last Friday and learnt lots about Remembrance Day. We looked at what life was like for children during the war and talked about evacuation. We even listened to the air raid siren and hid underneath the tables. Then we painted some poppies. Well done for making such a big effort with the children’s outfits, they looked brilliant.
